The Steering Committee is made of AOC individuals from AOC member agencies. This group provides overall guidance and critical decision making for the collaboration, and assures continuity of mission.

This group generally meets monthly, right before the general AOC meeting.

A focus on common goals and concerns shared by the agencies and individuals of Sitka regarding the development of our youth. Specifically, we are looking to promote positive youth development and increased family engagement within the community, while also focusing on community-wide prevention efforts.

Some grantees from the state have mandates to hold community forums to address important community services, such asccess to care, emergency services planning, referral processes, and other relevant issues.

This isn't really one committee but a catch-all for the various sub-committees that result from our focus on these topics.
